PHP Mailers is a software which replicates itself and infects any files or programs it comes in contact with. This results into the loss of hard disk space and slower computer performance. Usually this virus is sent to the victim as a .php email attachment or via Instant Messaging.

Apart from that, PHP Mailers can also replicate and send mass-emails to the victim’s contact, thus perpetuating the scale of the attack. This attack can put networked computers down and cost huge status downfall and monetary resources for e-commerce solutions.

Without regular filtration and monitoring, there is a high risk of network infection by PHP Mailers attacks.
